A Little Room for Thanksgiving in New Port Richey

If you’re the one who usually cooks Thanksgiving dinner, you know how much of the family news you miss on trips back to the kitchen. This year, pull up a chair. We’re serving Thanksgiving dinner at Sasha’s on the Park, our restaurant inside The Hacienda in downtown New Port Richey. Both locals and hotel guests are welcome.
A Thanksgiving table at Sasha’s on the Park
Bring the relatives who are visiting for the weekend, invite a neighbor, or make it dinner for two. This is your chance to sit next to the aunt you never get to talk to and hear her finish a story while somebody else takes care of the dishes.
When someone suggests the traditional after-dinner walk, you’re already in the right spot. Sims Park is next door. Wander down to the Cotee River together, find a bench, and let whoever walks slowest set the pace. Some of the best catching up happens once you leave the table.
Stay for the holiday weekend
Our pink hotel has been part of downtown since 1927. With 40 guest rooms and Main Street just outside, it’s a lovely place to spend a few November days, especially if the alternative involves an air mattress and a nephew who wakes up at six.
On Friday morning, meet downstairs for breakfast at Sasha’s before heading out to explore. Save Saturday for the independent shops along Main Street. Bring the person on your list who’s impossible to buy for and pay attention to what they pick up. Staying at The Hacienda has a practical advantage here. You can slip back to the shop later and tuck their gift away in your room.
Whether you live around the corner or you’re coming home for the holiday, we’d love to see you at our table. Call The Hacienda at 727-845-5621 to ask about Thanksgiving dining at Sasha’s on the Park or to plan your fall stay in downtown New Port Richey.
