Axe Hole NPR is a local facility offering a fun place to incorporate into your family day, date night or friends night out. We also host larger events such as employee appreciation, holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries and engagement parties. We offer special rates on full venue rentals during non-peak hours and hours outside of our standard business hours.
Please tell us what made you decide to start your business.
My husband and I both loved seeing the growth in Downtown New Port Richey. However, it was sorely lacking something to do that made it into a place to spend the whole evening - other than eat and drink. So, we started throwing around ideas and landed on axe throwing. It’s fun. It’s repeatable. There are leagues that help build a community of people that turned into what we now call the axe-fam. It felt like the right fit. We visited tons of other venues to see what they did that we loved (or didn’t love) to make sure we could provide the best customer experience.
What makes your business unique?
We are the only indoor activity based business in downtown.
What made you decide to open in Downtown New Port Richey?
My husband is originally from NPR. We wanted to bring something to this city that would help it continue towards becoming an amazing little downtown that gives people a place to come spend a whole day.
What do you think sets Downtown New Port Richey apart and makes it a special place to be?
The river frontage is a nice bit that sets it apart. It’s also great that it’s composed of so many small, local businesses and not big chains.
